    Students explore rhythm, percussion, and performance skills through a fun, hands-on drumming experience. No experience needed!

    🥁 Rhythm & Divine Youth Drumline
    Build discipline, confidence, teamwork, and musicianship through percussion training and performance.

    🎸 Rhythm & Strings Collective
    Students develop foundational skills on string instruments while creating and exploring music.

    ✏️ ELA Tutoring Through Music
    Strengthen literacy skills through songwriting, storytelling, reading, and creative expression.

  • After-School Enrichment Opportunities

    ELA Opportunities Through Music – Fall 2026

    Musical Expressions Experience (MEE) offers engaging arts-integrated enrichment opportunities that connect music with English Language Arts (ELA) skills. Through songwriting, storytelling, rhythm activities, creative writing, and performance experiences, students strengthen communication, vocabulary, literacy, and self-expression while exploring the connection between words and music. Our fall programs provide a creative learning environment where students build confidence, collaboration skills, and a deeper appreciation for the power of their own voices.

Our Impact

Musical Expressions Experience (M.E.E.) has made a significant impact on its Mississippi community through various initiatives aimed at providing artistic and educational opportunities for youth. The organization, founded by Chelsea Young in 2019, operates with a mission to ensure that every young person has access to music and arts education, regardless of their background or abilities.
